Hey CubeCraft team and community!
I've been playing since the early days (back when lobbies were always buzzing and everyone was grinding EggWars/SkyWars non-stop), and like a lot of us OG players, I've watched the server kinda dip in activity. Player counts aren't what they used to be, old-timers are drifting away, and it just feels like that competitive fire that made CubeCraft legendary is fading.
My suggestion: Add official LEVEL leaderboards (network-wide since levels are from all games) and MONTHLY, DAILY, WEEKLY AND EVEN YEARLY RESET leaderboards.
What would this look like?
Level Leaderboards: Top players by total level shown on a 100-spot board right in the lobby, just like the other leaderboards on CubeCraft. This is 100 spots because this would be a server wide lb not just for 1 gamemode so to balance it out there should be 100 spots.
Monthly Leaderboards: Reset every month (like the 1st at midnight server time). Track wins only. Top 50 spots too.
Why this would make CubeCraft alive again and bring back old players:
Drives daily grinding and engagement: Levels are already a big thing, but without leaderboards to see who's climbing, there's no real race. the same criteria goes for the other lbs
Monthly leaderboards would be huge – fresh resets every 30 days mean even casuals or returning OGs get a shot at top spots without insane grind time, it'd spark non-stop rivalries, daily logins to rack up wins. Servers like Hypixel blow up with monthly stuff like this! The same criteria goes for this as the others like daily weekly and yearly aswell
CubeCraft was THE minigame server. Let's make it that again! What do you guys think?
