We have a game mode called Blockwars which is basically what you're trying to suggest :)

Btw, if you want to suggest game modes in the future you might want to elaborate more (Provide detailed description of gameplay/offer kits that would go with your game mode) so you can get a good chance of getting some escalated/implemented.

As @Calichin said we already have a gamemode called block wars that is like capture the flag, but since is not a permanent game in the java version that might get you confused

on the other hand, the bedrock edition does have permanent blocks wars you should give it a try :D
