Can't Appeal

I tried to apeal my ban but when i enter my Mc username I only get a error message saying "Error! "Mc Username" has never joined the server, please make sure you are entering your username and not your appeal code."
I'm sure i typed my name corectly and not the appeal code, but i have chanced my name since i last joined the server.
All help i can get is greatly appreciated.
