Camping is allowed?

So I see some staff members do camping/trapping in their videos and in game too and in the rules it states that camping is bannable??

Camping is bannable if you're surrounden with lava and nobody can come to you because you're surrounded with lava. Trapping is allowed though.

It mostly depends, I participates in some traps with another staff member.
We do not camp, we mainly try to lure the players to us.

Camping would mostly be similar to skybase camping or in another situation, The player just make it so it's almost impossible for another player to get to him.
There are many other situations but if you believe someone is going against the rules, go ahead and report it.
We will judge it and (hopefully) explain our judgement if it gets denied.

I recently talked to a staff member about this, and he said it depends on the type of camping.
Camping under or above your island is against the rules.
Camping on your island is allowed to a certain extent, meaning, if you have made tall walls that make enderpearls useless and are doing everything you can to prevent a player from safe bridging then I would believe that is against the rules.
Hopefully that makes sense ;)

Camping in general is not allowed but staying at your island to lure someone into a trap is an exception.
