I think that applications should read before please Instead of a month, a week Please.

The simple answer is no.
Staff aren't robots and they have lives aswell. There are more than 300 applications coming in every day! How do you expect to get through around 20, 000 applications in a week.
Patience is the answer.

A week is too short, if they increased it to a week, they will get spammed.

As @Nikoshka said, it's impossible to check all the applications in one week. You just need to be patient.

Well the staff have lives, they can't constantly read applications.(maybe robot M.a.c)
