It would be pretty nice if a definition of bit coin was given. I understand that it's a form of money, but am not entirely sure.

Hardly, yes it is used for illegal transactions, but rarely so, Fiat currency is used illegally more often (as a legal:illegal ratio).

With regards to accepting Bitcoin, our current payment provider, Xsolla, does allow you to pay via Bitcoin should you choose to do so.
