Best way to protect your egg - EggWars

So obviously in EggWars you want to protect your egg. Most people thought that just tons of obsidian was the best way to protect it, but I am about to blow your mind. Glass.

1. First put sandstone around your egg at the beginning of the game.
2. Collect obsidian to put around it enough for 2 coats is what I usually do.
3. Buy a stack of glass and put it around the obsidian as far out as you can.

This way to protect your egg has saved my life in the game at least 20 times so far. So here is where I am going to explain how it works. So first of all what if I told you glass and obsidian break at about the same speed with a efficiency III pickaxe. I believe that glass breaks quicker, but it is super cheap and can be mass placed very quickly and is a nuisance to people trying to break your egg. This gives you more time to punch them off or kill them.

Thanks for this, I tried it 5 times, and it saved me 4 times because of how slow it was broke. The only reason it didn't save me the 5th time was because it was a surprise attack, which are really hard to watch out for.
