Being Targeted on Youtube Because of Report

Hello all,

A day or two ago I reported someone for hacking. Today, I saw that I had a notification on YouTube and I went to check. On the video of the hacker, was a very rude and hateful comment. I am very thick skinned so this didn't really bug me but for younger people or just anyone who's sensitive, I think a comment like this could really hurt them. I was just wondering if anything could be done about this issue because it classifies as CyberBullying on some level and I don't want others to have to experience it.

On YouTube, there are little to no rules when it comes to commenting.
You can say whatever you want without causing anything.
Just tell the guy to sod off and do something instead of crying about a block game.

No because u could have made a second account and you could have all written that or inspect element

you got no proof its the hacker

For anyone that is bothered by these there's a report function next to the comment, just fill that in and delete the comment. I don't actually know what it achieves as I've not had any response.
Also any kids on YouTube should really just tell their parents/guardian of any issues like these.

I could care less about who says what to me. As I said before, I am thick skinned. However, if an 8 year old reports someone and on the report video they get a comment like that, it could be incredibly hurtful.

Why would someone who's not the hacker post this? And also, they said **** you for banning me, which means that they are the hacker.

1) Could you provide me with the players IGN who you reported?

2) Don't worry about it -- whenever you do report people, you will receive abuse by that person, most of them are just swearing, asking for unbans. You shouldn't take it personally though. :D

You are also able to turn off comments on your videos -- that seems like the only thing you are able to do apart from reporting the message through YouTube. :)

Remember, don’t become too emotionally involved with players that get on your nerves. Trolls and other rule-breakers have a habit of goading rule-abiding players into breaking the rules themselves. If you find yourself getting upset, always remember that you’re doing the right thing by reporting them and they will get the punishment they deserve.
