You can join CubeCraft bedrock in these newer versions, however Java servers are extremely unstable with version above 1.12.2 so we are stuck on it for now. If Bedrock started using 1.17 blocks and stuff for maps we wouldn’t be able to get them in java. While Java is holding a small portion of CubeCraft back, let’s not abandon our roots.
