Cubecraft has recently teased new animated lootfor bedrock and I'm so excited. they teased 2 things, a cage and what appears to be a win effect. So here they are.

How excited is everyone for these, hopefully they come soon enough. The designers are getting better and better.​

It's a pity I don't own Minecraft Bedrock, I hope they add this to Java if it's possible aswell.

I think they can make 3d models for java, but they can’t force people to use 3d model-packs, what they can on bedrock. Like lucky islands on java: you can choose 3d, 2d or none, but for bedrock you don’t have a choice. Correct me if i’m wrong:)

Other servers can do the same thing, think about themepark servers, so it’s definitely possible. But there are 2 problems:
1. Not everyone will accept the resourcepack, what can ruin the game.
2. 3D model names got changed in an update, (I think 1.12 not 100% sure) but since they’re gonna make the server 1.12+ it wouldn’t be a problem.
But i don’t know a lot about 3D-models, so i might be wrong.

edit: I looked it up, but the 3D model names changed in 1.13 so it’s not possible (yet):(
