I totally disagree with you. I don't think this user is referring to a Staff closing a report, I think he is referring to what I said before. Or at least that by denying the report that doesn't say "Closed", maybe you can say "Already Punished".
It really shouldn’t matter whether a report is denied or accepted - if your report is valid, you are right either way :)

As for what I understand, you want to make things easier for staff members. the implementation of a system like this theoretically only increases the actions a staff member have to take to handle a report - not only handle or close them, but also having to determine if the player is already punished.

Also, good news, the feature you suggested is already there! Clicking on the username of the player you reported shows the exact reason why your report was denied :>

By the way, sorry if my opinion comes across as a little blunt - I can definitely see where you are coming from with this suggestion, I just don’t feel like it would be a good fit for CubeCraft in its current state.

It’s an ok idea, but I agree with lozora about that closing reports takes 2 seconds of our time. I know that feeling of a closer report and sometimes it does feel demotivating. I would support this idea, but it’s a bit difficult for a few reasons.
1. We don’t have a web developer, meaning adding things like this is difficult
2. This would require a lot of development time and would not be worth the time to just change a prefix.
I hope you understand my reasons for voting no.
