Sometimes I find myself in need of projectiles but I didn't have the chance to get a bow yet. Other times, a bow just doesn't draw back quickly enough. Allowing players to buy throwable eggs would be great. It allows players to be just a little more flexible in their playing style. It opens up more possibilities in PVP. It would be especially useful early game as you could shoot off rushers using the base gold.
I think eggs should be slightly less economic that just buying arrows (for example, maybe 1 gold could buy you 2 eggs vs. 2 gold for 5 arrows)
Also, don't you all think that it would make sense to have throwable eggs in Eggwars?
It would also be cool if there were other types of eggs you could purchase, such as exploding eggs and poison eggs.
Ok, I certainly like this idea, but it has its pros and cons. I'll start by listing the cons first and then the pros of this idea.
Cons:
-Can further increase camping at your base.
Bows are already annoying enough to deal with. Also, this would add a more SkyWars type element to EggWars which I don't want. I would prefer that EggWars wouldn't turn into SkyWars with eggs. Camping would be too easy. If eggs are to be added there should be a limit on how much you can purchase at one time.
-Too cheap.
It will be very easy to camp if this item is cheap. I'd suggest that they can only be obtained with diamonds. I don't think players should be able to obtain projectiles in the early game. I would prefer if they could be only obtainable mid-late game where people have good gear and weapons. I would suggest a price of about 25-30 diamonds for 16 eggs.
Pros:
I guess this could add no play styles and variation in game play which is a good thing. Players who play SkyWars might be able to adapt to EggWars more smoothly(ha see what I did there)/easily. But to mention again I would rather not have EggWars become like SkyWars.
In conclusion, this is an intriguing idea that when done right will be a great addition to the game. Basically, I would want it added if it was balanced and not to cheap. Furthermore, I wouldn't want players to have an over-reliance on this item. It should just be a semi-useful item that can get you out of some situations, but it should not be more than that. I will vote "No" on your poll right now, but if I see you make some changes to the price and such I am open to changing my vote.
