Dear CubeCraft Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

I would like to propose the addition of dedicated CubeCraft servers in the Middle East region, specifically in Dubai, UAE. This suggestion stems from the growing number of players from the Middle East who are highly engaged in your EU servers despite experiencing high ping and unstable connection issues.

Based on observations and community feedback, a significant portion (50% or more) of active players on the EU region are from Arab countries in the Middle East. However, due to latency issues, many others choose not to play or leave shortly after joining, which negatively impacts retention and player experience.

By adding servers in Dubai, CubeCraft would gain the following benefits:

Lower ping and smoother gameplay for hundreds of players across the Middle East. Increased player engagement and retention, as users will be more likely to stay and recommend the server. Expansion into a rapidly growing gaming market with high interest in Minecraft multiplayer servers. Improved regional balance and server load distribution, relieving pressure from the EU servers.

We, as a passionate part of the CubeCraft community, truly hope you consider this step. It will enhance the experience for countless players and help CubeCraft grow even further.

Thank you for your time and amazing work!

Best regards,
DxJar

its a good idea, but i feel like there are not that many players that would have a big improvement in their gameplay or ingame experience.. so im not sure if its worth it or not yk

I like the concept, but like @lolnope4714 said, not many ppl play in Dubai, and I think they should add Africa region instead to house more players.

They would like to, but they can't. Their servers are hosted by a company that has lots of servers, but that company has no servers in Dubai and the middle East. (This is what mods said, correct me if wrong) So it's not that they don't want to, it's simply that they can't. It's not like they reject an idea because it's bad, just impossible.

Quoted from ex-staff
We cannot do this because our provider does not have a data centre in the Middle East. The current closest data centres are Frankfurt and Singapore, and none are anywhere closer. We understand that we have a large community of players from the Middle East. However, it is not possible for us to answer their plea for a Middle Eastern data centre.

Additionally, moving from one data centre company to another takes a lot of extra infrastructure and time, especially with how much data and resources CubeCraft Games takes up. Not to mention how much more costly it would be to look into alternative options.

Additional reasons for connection issues can be down to your ISP and how they connect you to our data centres. Submarine cables play a big part in this, as different ISPs might use different cables. https://www.submarinecablemap.com/

This is the best solution right now, with Singapore for our Asia/Middle-East players, or them connecting to our Gravelines data centre in France.
