Use a fishing rod when chasing someone in pvp, they're more likely to slow down, miss a jump ect.. and it will allow you to get closer to them to sword fight them (obviously do not do this is you have worse armour/sword, they'll rek you)

Why would you use it when chasing someone? xD I see what your getting at, but it's much better when engaging in battle. Hit them with the rod, then you can easily get combos on them :) LOl I may be obsessed 0-o

Shes absolutly right, look at pro pvpers on Youtube, they all use fishing rods. I use it as well, your much better of using a fishing rod in PvP than rushing them.

UOHRPTDUHJJI She is right, you can use them for messing up the chasie, but I prefer to to use it in a rush sortave way, So they can't hit me at all, but I still get a great combo.

(I wish the Rid class was back for SG :()

Back on topic:
Game type/game: Sky Wars

Tip No.4: If someone is building to your island go close to the middle of it, so when they arrive, you can knock them back off the island, no matter what sword. This will increase your chances of winning a battle.

Tip: Configure your sprint key and set it to LShift, if you hold it down you'll have a constant sprint. That blows the fishing rod tactic out of the water.
If you get it, straight away it will start sprinting again.

I have "R" set as my sprint key. I say that it's the "run" button because of the R. Eh? ;)

I Can't, I'll mix up the Counter Strike: Global Offensive Controls with Minecraft.
R = Reload
LSHIFT = Sprint ;)

I'm actually surprised most people don't know about auto sprint.... And that still doesn't change the rod tactic..... OP ASF :D honestly, 1 hit w/ the rod, and the rest is yours xD

Anywhere thats pvp.
Tip: If you have a flint and steel. Press f5 and see if they are behind you if they are let them catch up and when they are about 6 blocks away turn around and flin and steel them. lighting them on fire and lowering there health.
