All Networks 🆕 Private Games Suggestion 🆕

So private games dropped for the public (in a beta state), so I think this is the perfect time for a suggestion about it!!!

• When clicking on the start game button, it would be nice to get another button to end the countdown/reset it.
• When joining the game, it would be nice if the timer didn’t go automatically but when you click on the start game button. (I don’t see the reason why we have it now.)
• Would love to have some of the old maps from Java in Bedrock private games & vice versa
• Show the number of people playing via PGs (the same way it’s shown on top of the NPCs).
• Show who’s in which team (Bedrock only).

Game configs can be made so much funnnn. Just making it so people that create private games can change how the game works would be funny.

Example for general configs which could be done in all gamemodes:

• Setting to change the amount of health people have
• Setting to preset the game modifiers
• Setting to make everyone nicked in the PG (#super private game)
• Setting to change the player size
• Setting to change effects (How cool would it be to play on an EggWars Halloween map with a blindness effect?!?!??!)

• Setting to change the time of day
• Setting to allow kits yes/no

Also, game-specific stuff would be cooool, stuff likeeeee:

• Amount of flags in CTF
• In EggWars, a fast mode where every gen is x2
• In BlockWars Bridges, to enable/disable the perks you can get
• In Lucky Blocks, making the “super lucky block” in mid respawn after 1 sec
• In BedWars, to disable diamond gens

I think the team can come up with even more lovely stuff that can be customizable!

You can do so much with PGs and I think making it public was a big change. I hope it will be updated soon again as it is beta!

Yes these are very good QOL suggestions for the Pgs. But, can't you, being a mod just suggest it straight to the other staff or does it not work like that? Forum posts usually don't get implemented, can you use your power to make the suggestions get implemented? It would be nice to add these small things.

Also what was all the uproar about subscriptions about? I see the whole community is pissed right now but I can't find an official post that explains what the update contains regarding monetization. Is it true that all the ranks have been transformed into subscriptiond!? Like wtf why? What changed exactly?

You should have the ability to create private games if you have purchased the rank for that specific game mode, (possibly with a daily limit on the number of private games you can create).

As Moderators we are not directly involved with any creative decisions / updates that are in the making. We do have the privilege of testing some updates before they come out but it is mainly for quality assurance purposes. So we have to use the channels everybody else uses for suggestions. Also, there is a lot of added value in sharing our ideas publicly on the forums instead of privately, because of the demonstrated community support.

On the topic of the recent changes to ranks and subscriptions, a news thread is likely in the works and should be posted as soon as possible. Some updates don’t receive a news post straight away in case we experience technical difficulties, as not to draw unnecessary attention to temporarily faulty features.

I love this suggestion. Especially the "Setting to change the time of day" would be great!
