The Problem with Skyblock Spawners
I've seen a lot of mob grinders, mob farms, and other builds that include mob spawners, and I think there should be a change.
When building a mob farm, almost 100% of the time, the spawners are in the air, as shown in the picture below. The problem with this, is that the mobs need a nearby block in order to spawn. This then requires you to build another layer of blocks under the spawners, so the mobs can spawn on them. I don't think this should be a thing.
My suggestion is to remove the feature that disables mobs to spawn if there is no block nearby. It took me over 2 hours wondering what was wrong with my farm, to then realize the blocks I used in the farm were placed in the wrong direction. This can get pretty annoying. If you guys could make it so mobs can spawn in the air, building mob farms would be much easier.
