I've been exploring 1950s music today, and it's so good! Does anyone have any suggestions I should check out?

I've never been keen on Elvis, personally. I know he was very popular though. Maybe I should try a few more of his songs.

You also can try The Beatles, I know they are really popular and I don't really know other artist/bands.

I've been at it since yesterday afternoon, but I've finished Inside No. 9. There was not a single bad episode imo, every single one was brilliant and I'm so happy I discovered this show. If you're a fan of Black Mirror, definitely watch Inside No. 9, and then we can nerd out about it!!!
    Whats up, buttercup?

Yeah, BoJack is great at ruining a good mood. Probably the most depressing show I've ever seen. Definitely agree with Rick and Morty, it used to be really wild and creative but now, something feels off about it. I'm not keen on season 4, and season 3 had a lot of duds.

Ooo good luck on your Law entrance! My flatmate does Law, she says it's a daily headache. 😖 Interesting, though!

I never got the notification for these messages. Law school prep is very very very exhausting
Fun facterino: From a sequenced genome, we can predict a person's height, weight, skin and eye colour, and even the appearance of their face, with semi-consistent accuracy.

Imagine the implications in criminology. Providing the criminal has no tattoos or face-paints, you could hypothetically create a digital image of a suspect's face from only a few cells.

That is creepy and that is why we need strict biometrics laws
Very nice obsessive freak. Would rate you a 8/10, you have to work a bit on your temper though.

But hey, don't we all 😔

For many people, gender as a concept already doesn't exist, and is used interchangeably with the word "sex". It is still relevant in discussions of the transgender umbrella however, since for non-cis identities, there is a mismatch between gender identity and assigned sex.

A common misconception is that gender identity is defined by the self, or can otherwise be selected; it's "just feelings". But there is a biological component to gender identity. It's likely caused by multiple different genes. Rather than erasing the concept, I think it'd be better to define it as non-binary (bimidal, specifically), which is more scientifically credible.

But for 99.7% of the population, their gender identity and sex are correctly aligned, so there's little need for cis people to ponder over gender. It's kinda like, if trans identities didn't exist, then people would still have genders; there would just be no need to discuss or acknowledge them.
1984, Frankenstein, or Brave New World - which one should I read first?
