Why is reporting so bad? On an average, i encounter 5 hackers daily and despite reporting them, the never get banned. Terrible watchdog

You should probably just make a report at https://reports.cubecraft.net (java) or at https://cbecrft.net/bedrockreports (bedrock). Reporting them via those sites (with evidence) is usually better then relying on Sentinel in my opinion.
Spot on, sentinel is really bad rn. The chunk glitch is almost a free ban if it happens and actual fly hackers can fly for 2 whole hours without problems
i always get a msg while playing that the report failed as it timed out or they left. they never get banned. NEVER
I always report on the forums (use game bar on all windows 10+ computers or in built console capturing). However, one of my friends (whose friends I was also playing with) was dragging in a scrim and they got banned mid scrim so, it is not entirely dookie.
The anticheat on CubeCraft, called Sentinel, is continuously being worked on by Developers. Unfortunately though, it is a cat and mouse game between these developers and the hack-client developers. This means that coding an anticheat is easier said than done.

This might give some insight on why certain hackers get banned within 2 minutes and certain hackers seem to be roaming free until a moderator detects them, either via a report or in-game.

Hit level 91 the other day. My goal is to get level 100 by Christmas, and I needed 4 levels this month, which I achieved, and 3 levels in all the others until Christmas.
