I think there should be an improvement towards this new feature.I’ve asked many people and most people don’t use it because it puts you in random maps which is ok for people without ranks.But people with ranks don’t use this feature because they prefer to pick the map.I think the change that should be made is too make it so it only chooses ur maps u have favourited(This can also be for only people with the rank).Thank You to whoever is reading this please make this change

1 Maps aren't always open sometimes there're different maps open and maybe that's not one of your favourite maps and then what? Then you can't play and maybe you gotta wait like 3 minutes for one of those maps to start. Then the game might say hey good you're here but you gotta wait another 5 minutes before we start filling up this game, all that waiting just for your favourite map?
2 They choose the map at the NPC, it's a waiste of time to edit a whole system just so you can select which maps you want to play and which not while you can just go to the lobby and select which one you want.
3 If you come in a map you do not want you can just do /hub and wait for a new map that you like. (basically what dutch said)

join to another map or another map you favorited and then a message should pop up saying the targeted map weren't available so we're instead get teleported to another game with a different map or just teleported to lobby i guess.
3 reasons why this shouldnt be implemented:
1. People 'favoriting' their maps is not easy to develop, since it should remember, check availability, etc. A lot of things that eventually would be possible, but takes a lot of time. I'd rather see something more useful appear on the network than having developers putting their time into stuff like this.
2. Everyone has different favorite maps. this would make people join a lot of different maps. on a certain moment this could mean 6 different maps each have 3 players, and none of them could start. Besides gameplay experience, actually playing the game should be more important, hence this is a bad idea.
3. If people really care about which maps they play, they should return to the lobby and select one themselves. the feature was made so that people dont have to wait until the end of the game to enable auto-mode (idk if bedrock had it before, but java did). with the command you can enable the mode mid game, which is a plus.
TL;DR - due to some problems with developing, but mostly with gameplay experience, i absolutely think this is a fun idea, but it should not be implemented. Hope you understand! (
