bug? Items lvl 5

Hi,
I just noticed something. please, please, please tell me that it is a minor mistake and that it will be fixed or reversed. I had 2 lvl 20 diamond swords and various other upgraded diamond items. That's why I invested countless hours in Bedrock. Right now they are only lvl 5 ........

I've heard from some people that if you fall in the void with a level 5+ item enough times, it will reset it down to level 5. If you have fell into the void multiple times then thats why. thats just a rumor, tho.
