I think that a fine adition to most gamemodes would be a ranked npc. What would this mean, well it would work based on elo (points) that give you a rank (cosmetic).
This would be like other games, let's take R6. Yo have your casual/noraml modes and then you have ranked (which gives elo). If you gain elo you go from bronze to silver, to gold, patinum, diamond, etc.
This would let players have harder matches and give a reason to grind some gamemodes.
