Well I'm sure you're talking about the older maps as the newer maps are becoming even better and better in my opinion. Anyway, there are so many types of maps we have for Skywars, so it really depends on which map you choose and what type of map you like. Just pick the one you like!

I don't think a speed gamemode would be nice for Skywars, but I do agree that some of the games can take a while before they end. Maybe a time limit could prevent this or a feature which destroys the border of the map after a certain amount of time like it does in layer spleef. Anyway, beside...

I hate to say it, but we can't stick to the past. We've to go on and follow the updates Mojang brings out. We can't support like 5 versions of the same game... I know a lot of people don't agree with me on this, but this is the reality.
