Swordsman... It needs to be dealt with.

Ok, here's the deal:

Kit swordsman has been a controversial topic for almost its entire existence. Either people say it is too overpowered, or too weak. I honestly will not be upset either way it is laid down, but i would like it to be evened out a bit. Here are my suggestions:
#1 – Upgrade Kit Swordsman to an Iron sword, Sharpness Lvl. I
or
#2 – Decrease swordsman cost to 800 points
or
#3 – In basic: Stone sword, Sharpness II. In normal, Iron sword. In Overpowered: Iron sword, Sharpness II
or
#4 – Keep it the same.

Please respond however you see fit, but please make it something beneficial, not just yes, no, or I hate this update. Thanks!

Kit Swordsman's impact in Normal:
It's one of the weakest swords, however it tops 2 others swords which are the normal Stone Sword and the Sharp 1 Sword.
Impact in Basic:
It's the best sword that you can get in Basic.
Impact in OP:
It's the worst sword you could get and is really useless.

Solving this issue:
Your Idea #3 might work. However in OP sharp 2 iron isn't the best, sharp 3/4 would be a good idea.

Points:
Decreasing the points is a yes from me, especially since it's not as powerful anymore. But, I'm not sure on how they will do it.

I personally don't play 1.8, so I wouldn't know for that. In 1.12, a stone sword, Sharpness II doesn't deal 7.5, unless I am mistaken. I believe it is much lower but I am not sure. Iron sword, Sharp II, deals 7.5 for sure though.

I like swordsman as it is right now, not to Op nor weak more balanced than before the update came out. So I will vote for #4 since that is the option I like the most, nice thread!

Thats an opinion , not a fact. Factually more people play on 1.12.2. Just not the pvpers whose majority lies in 1.8.
