I think /ping should be added so you can check players' ping.
The reason for this is because when you think someone is hacking (reach and triggerbot and all that), sometimes it can just be lag (because the higher your ping, the less knockback you take, the more delayed your hits are, so on a person with normal ping, it looks like reach). This happens with all the Mexicans, all of them lag so the Mexican pvpers who are half decent at pvp always look like reach and triggerbot hackers because of how much lag advantage they get, so to give people an idea of if they are hacking or if its just lag, I think /ping should be a command so people have a more clear idea.
It will also stop false reports if you do /ping before you submit a report, meaning staff will have less work to do so it will be more efficient for them.

Yea I agree with this. And you can also see their average ping?

Technically you can already do this, if you open up the player card next to the name theres what looks like cell reception bars, while it dosent give a numerical amount it does tell you the general idea of how good or bad the ping or connection is

The bars are connection, not ping

Yes, this is a good idea but for me is useless because I have a texture pack that tells me other peoples ping. :)
Good suggestion though!

Its not 1.9+, and I'm afraid that I don't know the name, I'm sorry
Does it show the exact ping or does it only show 5 different ranges (0-150ms, 151-300ms, 301-600ms, 601-1000ms, 1000ms+)?
If it shows the exact number, could you maybe post it here? I'd like to see how that works because I didn't think it was possible.
