I get around 200-300ms here (Taiwan) and have a little bit of Internet connection issues. Since England is the center of the world, everyone is fine. A US server is not necessary. Plus, the country I'm in is a minority, but SA people is one of the majorities. As @POWER_RANGER said, SA needs a server if NA has a server.

I must say this does affect the enjoyment of the server for everyone because people from the US are lagging around and other players from Europe have to fight them. It makes the server less enjoyable though having two separate servers is not the way to go.

I get like 38 - 42ms on cube. Surprisingly, it's the best connection I get on any server that I've played on. But anyways, on topic... This would be very good to have since I see nearly every US player having over 100ms.
Quick question: If this were to be done, the US players wouldn't be able to play with the EU players if they're connected to the different hosts, right?

They can, if the US server would simply be a proxy or "collection point" so to speak to connect US players to the main server in GB.
Don't really know how to explain it but I think it looks something like this:

If that's true, wouldn't the latency be the same as now if they have to connect to the us host which then connects to the uk?

Honestly, I'm fine and i live in the US.
Its not that bad of connection, in fact, I barely even lag anymore.

Some interesting ideas but here are some quick points.
I think it would be cool to expand the network to have more points of presence where our players are. At the moment the majority of our players are in Europe so having our servers in that area works well for us. Our servers are also in France ATM not the UK as people think!

If we did do it I would like to think that we would have a unified server rather than segmented countries.
