The only way to play different modes like op/hardcore, is to wait till a donator who's at least a gold rank. And also, make sure you quote the messages I sent to your post :)

Well that's the thing. I tried buying gold and it didn't let me. It's been about a week or so.

If you want to play OP mode without a rank, I highly advise you the maps TeaParty and Mushrooms.
These maps have 40 players, thereby having a very high chance a gold/+ member joins and votes for OP.
As for the random chance, I don't think this will ever be a thing.

Then email the cubecraft sales help email thing.
But if this gets implemented all you have to do is leave lobbies until you hit a jackpot lobby.
This could get totally abused and leave CC with 0 profit.

Donors would feel scammed if any other item type was selected in game without someone voting. People could get perks donors have without donating to the server. This won't happen. Oh yeah, CubeCraft's profit would also go down because people would realize that they dont have to pay to get different game modes like OP and Hardcore.
