They use their own hosting, so they just need a System Administrator and a developer keeping everything up, in this case, @Marco Slater & @GingerGeek

@rubik_cube_man founded the server back in 2013

They use their own plugins, if you want me to code some of them, hit me on a PM.

The plugins that CubeCraft develops, apart from any core plugins, are all custom made. This means hours, and hours of work is put into squashing bugs and creating amazing mini games. They set up virtual servers for all their games, each of them run off of one server. This means at peak times, there could be an excess of 8000-10000 servers. Advertisement is also essential to kick-start your playerbase. For any good advertisements, it costs up to thousands of dollars for a couple of weeks. You also need to pay for developers, any graphic designers (such as for banners for your advertisement), the build team (unless they want to do it voluntarily) and all the servers to host. Unless you are 100% confident in your ability for all of this, and you won't back off if you fail, then go ahead. :P

Cubecraft is making most of their plugins by themself, but this has not always been the case. In the beginning, premade plugins were used. I don't know exactly what plugins were used, but they are most likely outddated by now.

I would recommend you watching both cubecraft minecon panels. They are both really interesting!

throwing my mouse hard enough on the wall for a grand total of 7 times as a result of gamer rage somehow fixed the liftoff distance issues

also don't worry about me it's not that deep it's just anger issues and being the usual failure at everything including the simplest video games
