Make spawn protection the usual time but change it so if the person who is spawn protected hits you there spawn prot is gone because it is annoyinggg

Imagine this: You have been playing for half an our. You just took out grey and pink in one go, you are low on health but you want to get for purple as well. Then you see purple all over your island so you run back. There is no time to lose! You die. But because you have no spawn protection there is no change if getting the upper hand and all your hard work has been for nothing.
I never do, so that's why I put the 'Imagine this' before the post. Lel

No, this should stay the same.
It gives the team that is about the be defeated a change to still win the game. It's very easy to defend yourself from them. Take some blocks, preferable obsidian, with you and build around you while you break the egg to avoid any attacks.

I think the spawn protection should stay the way it is. It may be a challenge, but it's a fun aspect to add to the game.
Yeah spawn protection is wonderfull! Ever killed a whole team by yourself after a hour-long fight? Well when trying to destroy their egg they will collapse their hitboxes onto you and make it impossible to break their egg, after all you've done to get there!
Guess what, they can even knock you in the void with their little fists without getting it ONCE! :D

Spawn protection can sometimes save your life. (It has for me, especially in 1.8 with the crazy knockback ;)) If we reduce the time, might as well not have spawn protection at all.
This can be easily be fixed by blocking yourself in with sandstone. In extreme conditions, you can block yourself in with obsidian.

If there was a way to remove spawn protection after they hit some1 that would be great :D
Also just splash them with the weakness from the debuffer kit. Then they can't hit you at all or give you knockback. It gives you time to block yourself in.
