A good friend of mine plays EggWars with me a lot, and he was recently banned for KillAura. Though this statement bears no weight on here, neither of the two of us hack. We are just rather good at this game (he is much better than I).

The problem is that there is no available evidence for his ban. Looking up any of the recent people we've succeeded in banning, there is always a link to go to the evidence... For his, there is none. Try for yourself. His name is SPRTNnoah. He submitted for an appeal, only being able to state that he doesn't hack (and we have tons of videos on our YouTube channel showing that he is quite competent in PvP), and the appeal was rejected.

Is it a new CubeCraft policy not to include evidence, or is there some form of staff abuse going on here?

He mightve been banned on site by staff who dont require evidence, or basically staff who catch players themselves dont have to record apparently, this also came up in case concerning thisismynamexD , also his youtube channel proves nothing as he can hack while not recording he can just switch off from the client

If hacking is seen in game with a staff, I don't think video proof is required sometimes, although most of the time they do have video evidence of it.
If you think it's staff abuse, then feel free to make a post in the staff abuse report section via the link below.

First, who was the staff that banned you?

The mod was probably in game and saw your friend hacking. Do you have evidence that he wasn't hacking. Also remember just because you report doesn't mean that you don't hack.

True. I, personally, know he doesn't hack because I game with the guy in person. Also, how do you have evidence you aren't hacking when someone bans you? I mean, you could compare the skill from the YouTube videos to show that he is extremely capable of winning most PvP engagements... but I don't know how that would be possible otherwise. We don't record until we suspect someone is hacking.

Its all above , but staff arent required to post evidence, which to me makes me think cubecrafts to trusting with their staff, howevr they do have the rec on file on their computer for 2 weeks, the recent rework of the ban system is a 30 day ban then a perm ban, so that could be an issue

This thread is locked but I would like to address something

I do use evidence, but I only provide evidence when I am relying on another player's observation (ex: reports) I will see to it that SPRTNnoah is unbanned, but this will be the last time I pity these types of threads. I've always took great care in making sure I make the appropriate decision when dealing with a player that is being "smart" with their hacking and a player that is a skilled PvPer and I most definitely know the difference between the two

(If I don't then they will not receive any punishments)

I will not consider a ban without evidence unless I am absolutely sure they are hacking and if I can tell that they are, then I ban. My sense of sight does not lie. I know what I my eyes see is clear, and if I ban without evidence I clearly saw that you hacked and you will not be unbanned. I will lift Noah's ban, but next time I will make sure that I triple check a player before I ban them (even if it's completely obvious). Any steps to ensure that I punish correctly will be taken from now on. I know what I saw, and I know what I saw was the truth.

Also. This should not even be an open discussion on the forums, as it will make us, as a staff team look bad. This was supposed to be a conversation between me and the person who was banned, not a Free-For-All fiasco. If there is a problem Privately Message a staff member, but DO NOT make your problems public. You may not know how big of a problem it actually is, once explain it in a civilized manner.
