Before we start, not that this only applies for normal mode only.

We all know what camping is and most of us just hate it. We know it takes forever to just get to that team or plsyer, kill, then break their egg. My simple solution is to add an Armageddon mode. Basically what this is, is at a certain time, the shop gains better pickaxes, cheaper blocks (except obsidian), and an epeal in miscallaneous.

I would recommend the time to 30 minutes, during that time, players have a choice to vote for Armageddon mode. If the majority of players vote, the game turns into Armageddon mode. If the playersame don't vote, the vote comes every 10 minutes until the hour which then it starts automatically.

What happens? The shop gains 2 items. In the pickaxes section, the shop gains a diamond pick with eff 8 for 64 diamonds. The misc section gains an epeal for 64 diamonds. This is only to keep camping down. Comment below if you have something to add or any questions.

I actually really like this idea, nothing needs to be changed expect, maybe in Armageddon mode, you can also buy prot 1 armor, good suggestion.

Oh, ok didn't think that it would make fight longer, and campers would get that to and when u epearl they would rek

Over half of the games I've played have been over an hour where chain rushes are useful,
IMO it should be 45-60 minutes in

Imagine you're the only one left, And then there's a camping team of 3.
The camping team of three will obviously vote no, and it still won't be fixed...

I don't like this, it's a double edged sword. On one hand you can get to the campers easier, but on the other the campers can epearl to your island and use the pic to break your egg.

At this point, what's the point in OP mode if this gets added? Also, most ranked players might feel scammed about their rank perks since this is basically converting Normal mode into OP mode.

Another flaw with this is how is Hardcore mode going to be played if certain items get more OP and cheaper.? With camping, you can build safety bridges in order to get to their base. It brings more strategy.

How is it converting to op? The only thing that changes is the pickaxes and epearls. I never said this should be added for hardcore.

In OP mode, there's enderperals. Also, OP mode has cheaper blocks and finally

That's how it would be to similar to OP.

OK then remove cheaper blocks. But in op, the armour and weapons are like freaking level 5 in enchantments. Idk what is so bad about an epearl. The pickaxe would make the egg destroyed easier.

Now that I think about it (After reading some comments)
There could be a much more effective way to dealing with campers... (Don't ask me what, Since we don't quite know yet)

If this were to be implemented, Campers could save up a plethora of diamonds to buy loads of ender pearls and start diamond gens and therefor creating more chances to camp.

1. Never Build directly across whether you are build to the middle or to an enemy island all ways build a staircase/upwards so the bridge you built is a one way path and the only way to use it is it build upwards
4-Distracting Enemies
So this trick can work with 3 ways
4.1 : Shooting arrows/ building to the enimes base while your teammate(s) build from behind them
4.2 : having a spec talk to a specific player which is the best player on the team to prevent him from gearing up and gives u more time to gear up/ attack

Some ways to deal with campers also safety bridges are not that hard especially if you can make it in a sneaky way (i recommend getting to the highest point on your island and build)
Also my thoughts on this idea is no, although maybe a efficiency 4 or 5 added in normal i am okay with because 3 isn't that good

Some people forget that if they camp then they CANNOT get to you if you also decide to camp. Additionally, longer games hurt your rewards per hour (less XP, points, potential cubelets per hour) compared to playing several fast games.

I like how you have an idea to combat camping, but I was thinking of another solution. What about we have the islands gradually shift towards the center of the map or safe bridges automatically built after a long time?
