Well kid, you're one selfish boi.
I don't think you consider that staff don't get payed, They're doing it for free. FREE
So they might even decide to leave for any reason whatsoever at any given moment
They won't.

That's like volunteering to work in some place, and then after some days you stop going to that place. At the same time, nobody can judge you as you're volunteering and not getting anything in return. If you volunteer in such a thing irl and stop doing it, do you think the people who hired you will keep you working with them? I don't think so.

1. As we all know, 1.8 returned a couple of weeks ago. While everyone seemed happy and started enjoying 1.8 again, and players who had stopped playing on CCG due to the 1.9 update returned back, Staff couldn't foresee the negative effects of 1.8. Hackers are back to the game again, numbers of them, from simple anti-knockback to more advanced hacks that are basically impossible to beat. Frequent skywars and team skywars players know what I exactly mean when I say there must be at least one hacker in every game we play. They don't seem worried when they are using their hacks either, as they know they will get unbanned in a month, when it should be a permanent ban for them.

The reason for players getting a one month ban at first is so that those who will actually learn a lesson will stop hacking. I know many people who have hacked in the past and are sorry for those mistakes. After their one month ban, they would have learnt their lesson and stopped breaking the rules, if not, then they get permanently banned as you could see that they haven't learnt their lessons and they decide to continue to hack.. Maybe they have abusive parents or friends who decide to go on their account and hack on it? Maybe it is just a lonely eight year old who doesn't have any friends and just wants to win but doesn't understand that it is unfair for others? Here are some conversations of players who apologise for hacking which I believe would learn their lesson from their and not hack next time they are on the server. (Names scratched out for obvious reasons)

The anti-cheat is still currently in the making and many players have seen it starting to work. The anti-cheat is still being developed though, and it has started to kick players which it believes to be hacking. Of course, it has kicked many players who lag, break obsidian with pickaxes which aren't diamond (etc.) but we do know that it is being worked on, and (hopefully) soon it will be released.

2. Staff, staff, and staff. Staff are hardly doing their job in managing the server. Reports are not replied to, which increases the amount of hackers we find in game. A lot of bugs, which are more than a year old, still are available to date and they don't/won't seem to ever get fixed (i.e the "SEARCHING FOR GAMES" sign that appears in the map section, the disturbing map shuffle, and many more.) It's unpleasing to know 30+ staff exist and most of them don't bother to reply to reports, or to work on improving the server, when they mentioned otherwise while applying for the staff position. (This is not meant to personally offend any Staff Member, I'm just stating my opinion.)

Answered by @DutchLemur . Staff have a life to live as well. If you want to apply you can, but would you rather Cubecraft has around 200 'ok' moderators or 50 of the best? (This is a rhetorical question so don't bother answering.) @Mac is currently already accepting applicants who do an amazing job, and once helpers who are working hard at the moment get promoted to moderator, then they as well, will be able to help with reports which have been in-answered.

Want to help the staff team, please apply here: https://www.cubecraft.net/threads/helper-applications-open.139999/

Let's be honest. "Staff is not doing their job, they don't care about reports" etc. etc. As @HackersDontWin already said, we have a life, school, friends, education and a lot more. There are reasons some staff are inactive, not replying to reports etc. So please respect us so we feel appreciated because we are Volunteers!!

Other Staff, such as Admins and Owners, pay the least attention to our suggestions. They don't take them into consideration until they experience it themselves. For instance, the Hulk kit which I requested removing in team skywars was never removed, when most of the people who had replied to my thread agreed on removing it. Mentioning good reasons for it to be removed, I got no professional reply from a staff who's responsible for such stuff, although I tagged a lot of Admins and some Owners. I only got a reply, which I thought was sarcastic and least convincing, from an Admin. I believe the Hulk Kit was only removed after an Admin noticed it should be.

Again, evidence? Most of the recent suggestions made have been implemented such as /fr which was suggested by @YounB on a thread.

3. The Staff team don't prioritize the things to work on the server. You can notice the server really needs bugs to be fixed, but what happens instead is more and more Eggwars maps, or any other update that is not as important as bugs fixing. Some things are needed to be taken care of before other stuff, which doesn't happen. In my opinion, Owners just leave bugs until players are used to them, while they proceed to work on other stuff that will make the server appear more attractive to newcomers.

1) Builders work on maps. Developers don't. Why are you comparing work that builders do to the work that developers do? That just doesn't make sense. If more and more maps are being released, then you should thank the builders for making those maps as developers do little to nothing to get the maps released. They are busy working on updates such as the new anti-cheat and freebuild.

2) Freebuild is the priority, and voila, https://www.cubecraft.net/threads/freebuild.159507/
The project of fixing Freebuild only started a couple of months ago, but it was put into maintenance when it shouldn't have. Don't blame the staff team for that as Cubecraft got more developers to help work on Freebuild once Cubecraft merged with the chunk.

We do respect and understand that you have your own private life, and we do appreciate that you spend your time answering our reports. But how I see it is, some Staff DO have the time to do reports, providing the evidence that you see them online both on forums and in game, but they just don't do it because they already got the rank they always wanted (I guess?) People apply for staff, I agree. How many players have been promoted to staff so far? And most of them still don't do the reports. The only outcome I see from this is that people apply for staff for the privileges staff get, not for helping out the community, as I said before. Again, if you don't think you have time for reports, due to whatever reasons you might have, then with my all due respect, you should replace your spot with someone who is willing to help out the server. Again, I'm not talking about every Staff Member here, since some of them really do care about the community. I'm sorry if I sound mean to some degree, but I don't mean to personally offend any Staff Member, I'm talking about the team altogether.
I get your point, but replacing your 'spot' for somebody else doesn't work. Everyone has a chance to become staff, and if you think you're the best, apply. I work 5 days a week and I'm online if I can. Doing reports isn't an easy thing to do. I'm replying to your message now, because there's no way I can do reports as I'm in train right now. You have to be at home if you want to do reports, that's why there are staff online, but most of them can't do reports as they are checking the Forums at work etc.

I know what you feel dude and want them to be more active and notice threads they got tagged to (@Zelreedy e.g) but i bumped a game suggestion multiple times and no reply even from a helper *cough*
but some mods are busy but i personally have kind of favs (which are mods that are active) i won't say right now if you want to know i will message you :)
i am 100% sure the mods get a notification when they are tagged, sometimes i am sure they see it but just ignore it
but currently CC is looking for new "fresh" Mods
cause i know after a while of being a mod they get bored and tired of it :P

It's obvious that they don't earn any money for it. But if you apply you should know you're willing to dedicate your time (mostly in staid of playing) on answering reports and after doing other things on the forums. Maybe you don't have a lot of time, and have to be inactive for a little while. But if that is for a long amount of time, it may be better to resign and give others a chance that have time, and are willing to dedicate their time on replying on reports and answering other questions on the forums.
I'm not trying to offend any staff members, but it might be good to take it into consideration if they really are willing to dedicate their time in moderating the server.
That's like volunteering to work in some place, and then after some days you stop going to that place. I think everyone can make a whole conversation about this andwe can say: "we agree" or "I do not agree" but unfortunately only admins/owners (and maybe mods) can do something about this and I think they're at the site of staff, which means that we can't win this round :( And I must say that I totaly understand staff embers but to repeat what I said: I've seen staff members who didn't even whatched reports and I'm not calling names but there are staff members like that, but there are ofcourse staff members who act like a staff member and are doing good work so respect to them.

I, nor Zelreedy ever said they should be demoted because they have a social life.
We said that if they don't feel like they dedicate to much time in moderating, then they could take it into consideration to may resign. So other applicants have a fair chance.

Because it takes time to set it up where you can connect with all versions and connecting with a different version redirects you to another server.

Cube changed to 1.9 on Mar 6, 2016.
Since that day there has been threads about going back to 1.8. Making it compatible with 1.8. And changing back fully.
That's roughly 6 months, and after that they realized the amount of players that used to play on CCG when it was 1.8. And finally changed back, not thinking about the amounts of hackers that will come back. Which wouldn't be logical if you don't release a good anti cheat with it. To have the lowest amount of hackers, or have a very active amount of staff members.

I honestly never noticed the anti-cheat system kicking players for hacking, nor have I been kicked falsely for whatever reason. I do look forward for it as well, but I was hoping it gets released before 1.8, or the same time as 1.8, to prevent hackers from playing in the server and getting away with their hacks.

True, people wanted and requested it. But when did 1.8 come back? When the amount of players on the server dropped significantly. You probably noticed it yourself. CCG was mainly Dutch and Spanish players back then. As soon as the server went on 1.9, I would say 90% of the Spanish players left. If Staff accepted the fact that we all wanted 1.8 back, they would have worked on it straight away after seeing such threads you just linked. However, it was released again after months the server was upgraded to 1.9.

(I'm pretty sure it's much more) Have those 10 Mods fulfilled their duties as they promised in their applications? (Some of them have) I'm confident if every Staff Member promoted did as they promised in their applications, no one would be reporting unanswered reports. The problem is, Newly recruited staff are excited about their jobs for a certain period of time, doing all the reports and whatever they are required to do, but they slowly lose amusement and find it boring to do those reports, which is why they eventually stop. Again, I do understand everyone has their own personal life, and can be busy at times. But if you think you won't be able to spend a lot of time serving the server, then I don't think you should apply. Oh well, "On average, how many hours are you online per day? " is mentioned while applying for Helper, but people either lie answering that question or they're accepted although they say they don't play a lot (I don't support the second option.)

Again, evidence? Most of the recent suggestions made have been implemented such as /fr which was suggested by @YounB on a thread.

You're just helping me prove my point. If you don't have time for the server, you shouldn't really apply in the first place. The server has been looking for Mods for a year now, and surprisingly some of them didn't stick to the promises they made in their applications. What's available now are Staff whom most of them said they will do their best to help run the community, and mentioning they're pretty active as well, when they are the lateral.

Again, I don't mean all Staff do this, but some of them actually do. I'm not offending you personally or asking you to resign, either.

Why not? They're just taking their time and I don't see how demoting staff that have a social life will make the server better.

One can both have a personal life and time online. Demoting staff who have a social life doesn't make the server better, but it allows more serious players to join the staff team, which in this case, helps make the server better.

It was opened at around the time of June/July 2016. Cubecraft is only accepting the best of the best so that is why:
@Anmazing

Atleast they removed it eventually. You can't really complain about that. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

"but what happens instead is more and more Eggwars maps"
Also, they do prioritise things, the dev team has several groups. Some developers work on the Anti-Cheat, some work on Freebuild, and some work on other things which need to be done! Currently the priority is Freebuild and not games such as Hide and Seek / Parkour so they are working on Freebuild ATM, again proving my point that they do prioritise things :).

They need to atleast install a cheap anticheat in place of the broken one, its giving the hackers free points, I saw a gold rank hacker today, I think all hackers after the anticheat is fixed should all be banned for 6 months

So as the thread title pretty much says: What is happening to CCG? The server is undoubtedly doing terrible in several fields at the moment. On the same hand, these problems aren't getting fixed or prevented before they occur. I apologize for the long thread, but I'm gonna talk about my main concerns.

I just don't understand how a huge server as Cubecraft can't have a good anti-cheat system that's functional. Although it is said there is one, I doubt it does any work at all. How I see it, in my opinion, 1.8 was brought back as Owners realized they lost a lot of players who used to benefit the server in a way or another, not because people wanted 1.8 back so much.

To sum it all up, I really think the server needs to be taken more care of, as it is one of the most popular servers on Minecraft. I didn't mean to offend anyone through my words, but I just thought I really had to write what I believed was necessary to help change the current things. I regret to believe that the server has turned from a fun project that's run by Owners to a business that earns them money. I do hope Owners take a look at this, and I really wish you guys share your opinions as well.

Thanks.
Let's see how you would make the server perfect for everyone when there's over 100K people on daily.
Remember: Everyone needs to be happy INCLUDING the staff

They need to atleast install a cheap anticheat in place of the broken one, its giving the hackers free points, I saw a gold rank hacker today, I think all hackers after the anticheat is fixed should all be banned for 6 months
Cubecarft doesn't copy plugins.
They make their own plugins.
You may call this inconsiderate for other players, but they can accept suggestions easily BECAUSE it's all custom.

Well, I feel your pain as I was once member... And I know sometimes it feels as if we aren't trying. We are. We're working VERY hard, and we all want the best for the community. I really don't know how it is to do reports, but I do have it in my mind that when the time comes if it does, that I will do reports to the best of my abilities. Now, there are days that staff have that they just feel like they want to hang out with people and play and not be set on only being a staff member (Doing reports and such) Of course I have those days, everyone does. I apologize that you guys feel the way you do, but once again we have volunteered to do this job. We try, and no, it is not our #1. I can tell you for a fact that school is way more important to me... That does not mean staff isn't important to us aswell. You never know how a staff member is doing in life with money, school, family, etc. Be considerate.
