My threads keep being closed abruptly. It seems wherever I go, staff members, and other players are so eager to shut down my threads, that I can't even reply anymore. Now. DO NOT close this thread, until it has been replied to by either the Owner or Co-owner. That may take a while, but I would like to get feedback from other people as well. I will keep making threads until you stop closing them. You all need to take a look in my shoes and see what it feels like. If you already have a rank, I would advise you to not comment on this discussion, but who am I to control you. I will just take you opinion with a grain of salt, due to your bias. I would recommend buying a rank, because according to everyone who commented on my last thread, this server needs it desperately. Other than closing my thread, and unrelated comments. I don't care what you say here. I need supporters for the owners to see this.

Now that that is out of the way.

Quick definition:

1. (of a person, action, or motive) lacking consideration for others; concerned chiefly with one's own personal profit or pleasure.

This is the best word I could find to describe this server at this point. I have tried my best on every server I go to to make a good impression, by suggesting an Idea. But it seems the human race is so opposed to change that my ideas don't even get a chance to be voiced. So one more time.

50 vanity points. Every TWO WEEKS (used to be weekly, but now its 2 weeks, 28 days) for stone rank players.

The server will not die. The ranked players will still dominate and run the server. Everyone is happy. It will take a long time for me to get any vanity items, but at least I could get them. Besides, I might get a rank anyway. So there you go. All I want is for the poor, or more disadvantaged, i.e the people with strict parents to feel a bit more like you care enough to give them a fun minecraft environment, and not like a cash cow.

Vanity points were added for donators. That's it. Would be weird to add them for non-donators, wouldn't it?

The server isn't selfish. Vanity points is something that RANKED people get. Many ranked people would feel scammed if you added even 50 points per week. This would result in players not wanting to pay for the server because just like you, they would think "It will take a long time for me to get any vanity items, but at least I could get them". By having vanity points a ranked only perk you would start to want to think along the lines of this, "Ooh ranks are cool! I would like to get one! Man, this fire trail is soooo cool. I really really want it!". The only reason the server is a "cash cow" is because the server needs money to stay up.

The only reason I requested staff to lock your thread was because you said this: "Discussion over". (Now that I look back at that thread, I see that you changed it to a big paragraph about rich people).

I'm a little bit confused due the fact that you started with something completly else, rather than starting with your thread. Anyway what you want to say is that every player deserves vantity points. I don't think this is a good idea and you're right. Normaly the server wont die. But if EVERY player on the server can get vanity points, 6-8 months later, you have enough to buy maybe 1 or 2 things. So first of all I wouldn't see the point of waiting half a year just to get 1 specific item. Second of all, the people with ranks maybe feel a little bit scammed because everyone can get vanity points. I think this is not going to happen. ;)

Yes it would be nice to get the things they're trying to sell for free, but that won't happen.

The server will not die of course but still having as many features for donators as possible is cool. If I were to make a server I would make in lobby cosmetics donator only anyway. Feel lucky that you can get some cool stuff like cage colors and arrow trails without even donating.

Okay, I'll do my best to keep my comment as clear and as neutral possible.

We all know that servers need money to stay online. Cubecraft's incomes come from donations and every player that donates will be given perks. To be clear, you do not buy the perks, but get them in exchange for donating. However, people do donate in order to get the perks, which is typical for the human race. Little to no players would donate if there wouldn't be any perks. Perks that include exclusive vanity items. If Cubecraft would allow every player to get vanity points, independent of regularity, players would loose mood to buy a rank since it doesn't make them "special".

So Cubecraft doesn't care about stone ranks and they don't have fun? No, I have a lot of friends without a rank and they are all having fun on Cubecraft.

Goodluck with making threads. Closing them takes less time than making them. Staff is able to close threads, when people necro-post threads, the thread is insulting, the thread isn't about cube, a player report is in a complete wrong section without video evidence etc. owners aren't that much online, so it would mean a thousand necro-posts each day, because only owners would be able to close it. You said that donators shouldn't reply this thread, well, there are here donators and non-donators and the only way to change things is if everyone agrees with each other. You need supporters so the owners can see that your idea needs to be added. With this attitude there will not be a change, because you're right now more a pain in the ass then helpful. The cube community is not selfish at all. We just don't like your idea. Deal with it and move on with life. C'mon don't be so childish by calling us selfish. I get that you tried to get (in your opinion) a nice suggestion added, but if people don't like it, deal with it. Oh wait this was a thread about vanity points, not your behavior. I'll get back on topic:
I would feel scammed as donator (not that I wanted a rank because of the vanity points xD).

Thats the point of the rank, so you don't have to wait half a year.

I just don't get it. Does anyone realize the real perks of donator? Choosing maps, flight in the lobby,voting for games, etc. But for some reason everyone thinks that donation is solely for vanity points. Witch is stupid. It just proves that all everyone wants to do is throw money away, just to feel better. So if you don't have money you aren't good enough for extra stuff. The mindset of minecraft servers these days, are "If they don't give me their parents money (Or their own money) then I'll just give them the bare minimum, and if people give me money, I'll give them a few extra things." I am just so fucking done with everyones greed.
