So my idea is that the most trusted persons on this forums get a temporary rank, to go through reports. No need for perms or so, just persons to go trough the reports to deny reports with a lack of information. So, the real mods+ only need to go through the accepted reports.
That is a great idea. It would take a lot of relief off of the mods and helpers. I see a lot of reports I could say "You need video evidence" or something but I'm not allowed to do that. +1

Me too! Hopefully, all of the haters will stop hating about "Why are there so many hackers" for the billionth time.

I fully support this. There are a lot of reports that are incorrect or incomplete.

Sorry, but this seems like a terrible suggestion. The helper rank is there for a reason, the helpers get educated to do reports correctly, if they would just let some trusted players do this they will probably make a lot of mistakes. And people would try hard even more on the forums to get that rank. I personally feel like it would be better to just accept some more helpers who are trusted on the forums/make a lot of hacker reports, as they will probably end up doing reports as a moderator as well.

Considering the reports outnumber helpers like 100:1 I feel like an extra set of helping hands would help

The problem is: The actual staff can't do enough. "normal players" could help. Just a bunch of trusted players that are allowed to deny reports and close the threads. You talk about certain education helpers get to deny reports, now, the question is: Would I need education to see whether the player made a video of the hacker or not? Would I need education to see if the player warned the guy swearing? Well, I wouldn't...

I obviously would prefer they get "real" helpers, but this could be a good start to slowly stop the problem.

Did I? I've only seen 2 helpers actively denying reports. However, this is not enough. CubeCraft clearly can't handle it.
I'm sure he means that although we have a great panel of staff, the sheer number of reports completely overwhelm the staff who are usually busy doing something else.

No server can handle 150 pages of reports, with more than like 10 reports per page. Like really? Cubecraft just needs a little bit of help from the community, and I'm sure there are some that are willing to help :)

EDIT: Over 300 pages in there are a random mess of reports (like 5-6 per page) who still haven't been dealt with. I didn't bother looking any further.

Exactly, I now edited my posts to explain my idea in a better way. I'm sure the CCGN staff team is trying to do as much as possible, but that might not be enough. A little help from the community could be crucial at this moment.

I feel it would be a lot more helpful for people to just point out the reports that are made falsely, considering many hacker reports are just screenshots.

Ok, so there are 3 big problems here:
#1: This is a officially a Helper job. Since @FalseHonesty already explained this one, I'm going to let it be.
#2: This would be incredibly competitive. Just imagine the Helper rank, just its within reach! YOU can get it! Imagine how many spammed applications the staff would be getting
#3: Giving players perms on the forums is a bad idea. Simply put, these people are not members who have been evaluated for maturity and such, (with something like an application). They're just active forums members. This could be abused incredibly.

And last but not least: WHO CARES?
I mean, these people posted the wrong evidence or something, so they're not going to get the reported player punished. Who cares if the application gets officially denied or not? Of course, its a nice, polite thing to have, so the Helpers do it. But to give this to regular members? No. The risks far outweigh the rewards. -1

First of all, remember Helpers are normal players too.
Also, like I said, this perm would only be given to people who showed their maturity.
This would NOT be a Helper rank. The only perms would be to reply on reports and close reports. This is not to simply close it, but to simplify the task of the mods, so they only have to look at reports that are legit.
