I personally have nothing against 1.9 pvp but I enjoy 1.8. A lot of people are discourage to play on cubecraft because of that. I think that cubecraft should implement and option of the type of version you are on to complement everybody's needs/wants. This would make cubecraft more popular and more YouTubers will want to play every more. I am just saying this for the YouTubers that enjoy 1.8 pvp more the 1.9.

OP, Cube is actually the 3rd most popular server, sometimes having more players on than Mineplex at certain times of the day. What makes Cube unique is that it's the most popular 1.9 server.

Well First of all Cube is still Popular.. We wont go back to 1.8 ;) and you can still play some games in 1.8... Also other servers will have to update some day... Cant wait till that happens xD

Most of the PvP is still the same (bow, secondaries, tactics). Melee is the main difference.

That is simply not true. Two of the top six servers still support 1.7....

But yes, you can still play the 1.8 PvP Modes in Eggwars, Skywars, and PvP.

Firstly, for majority of the games, you can choose between 1.8 and 1.9 and secondly, CubeCraft is the server that it is today because it is 1.9 exclusive and people actually still play on it rather than other servers being scared that they will loose players if they make it 1.9 which is partly true. The main reason I play on CubeCraft is because it has 1.9 PVP and is not just "compatible" but has 1.8 PVP. It is actually properly full 1.9! Thank You so much for 1.9 CubeCraft.

At the moment, the only games with the classic pvp (1.8) are EggWars, SkyWars, TeamSkywars and PvP. CubeCraft won't support anymore the 1.8 version, so get used to 1.9 pvp or you can play the games above in the classic version!

If only there were statues where you could chose whether you want to play 1.8, or have signs with 1.9.
Also, you can't complete everyone's needs/wants. Everyone likes something different.

There's a problem if the server is 1.8 and 1.9 compatible like hypixel and mineplex. This means that the server can use only 1.8 mechanics and items. That means no 1.9 items and no 1.9 combat tweaks (e.g. bow accuracy while moving, cooldown). Also, this may create more unnecessary work that is already fixed or break working features.

Here's an example: this means enchants may not show up on the enchanting list. This was a bug in Mineplex's 1.9 to 1.8 compatibility.

It is not 1.8 compatible yet you with need to load up your launcher on 1.9 or above to join the server.

I have a great idea. i believe there are many people who like to play 1.8 Survival Games so maybe in a next update 1.8 PvP for Survival Games
