This thread is about blockwars and the transferring feature
It happens a lot that players from the losing team will leave in blockwars, but why would you rebalance the teams? Its so unfair for the player who gets transferred and what's probably the most annoying is that you get transferred while playing with friends so you are on the opposing team. You basically take away all that the player has played for and he will probably leave as the game isn't fun anymore as u helped the now opposing team defeat you. This feature should really be removed! You don't just get transferred in the middle of a game in skywars or eggwars so why would you integrate that feature into the game?

Hmm..
Why don't you try turning the tables?

Red team (my team) started with 6 people but now there is only 2 left.
Blue team has 6 people, none of them left but they were losing.

So now, if we add your suggestion in.. no one gets switched over right? So with the majority at their advantage, we become the losing team.
It wouldn't be fair or fun for my team if no one gets switched over. I know it is frustrating at times but I don't think there are any better suggestion than the current system we have.
Perhaps suggest a way to improve it instead of completely removing it? I think that would be better :D

Well let's be honest here. You will most likely not be the winning team when it's 2v6.
I completely understand that players who are winning do not want to get switched to the opposite team. Also if you are losing you probably don't want to get switched. Most players pick a team for a reason (playing with friends or nice colour). It's not nice if you get switched when a team has less players than your team. Of course it's unfair for the team which has less players than the other team but that's the risk of playing with others.

Let's take a different minigame as example:
You are playing eggwars and all your team members leave. I'm pretty sure you don't want to be switched from teams there when the teams are "unfair".

If you force players to move teams when the game is unfair I think you should remove the ability to choose what team you want to be. After all there is a chance you won't be in the team you choose at the end.
On a side note: I am against the idea of removing the ability to pick colours/teams.

I get your point of view but there are a lot of people skyping etc or just did a hole lot for their team and then get switched from teams at the end of the game where there is no turning back for the losing team. There is a reason why people leave and I think it's lame to leave at the end. I have no problem to get switched at the beginning of the game (although I choose my team strategically) but later on maybe after the first 3:30 minutes you shouldn't be switched anymore as you did too much for your team to win and actually deserve to end with the people you started with as you worked as a team to get to that score. So maybe only let people get switched at the first 3:30 min. of the game? That seems pretty fair to me.

No, it was 6v6 and red was winning but afterwards red is left with 2 for some odd reason the 4 disconnected. So no one is getting switched therefore they won't have any way to counter it being just 2 against 6.

Well I know the frustration to be in a game with a friend and suddenly they get switched, though I find it unfair on both ends, I have took some time to think about it and thought instead of players getting switched and no one replacing the player who have left, why not add in bots?
If you are familiar with cs:go - once your teammate disconnects.. a bot would spawn which quite "bad" skills but better than having no one at all.
Though I highly doubt that would be added, it's another idea to consider where no one gets switched and the odds aren't that big.

WOW If you remove the ability to choose your own team in a team based game you will encourage friends to cross team: One will destroy all the defense while its build time and the team who has no defence anymore will lose.

Not a good idea to not let people choose their own team! I choose my team based of how fast people will join in the team with less people/how many people are in the team at the end and of cource names/skins.

I hope you did read that I'm against removing the opportunity to pick teams.
I was simply giving an example that picking teams doesn't affect the game anymore since players will be switched anyway when the game is unfair :)

People who leave are not the people you want to be in a team with. They leave because they have no hope that they are going to win anymore. They are not leaving in the beginning! they are leaving at the end. As i already said I have no problems with being switched to another team in the beginning as I didn't work for the score.

Sorry I red that wrong :)

Perhaps players with the most kills/ flags captured don't get moved? It'll be a bit like the bot, but not because players will be better, but the best players don't get moved to the losing team?
