Recently I have noticed that there is more and more hackers on this server and there should be an alternative to recording them and uploading the video to YouTube then making a thread about it. I think we should have a way to report a player in game but you have to write a messages about why your reporting them so that we can stop hackers quick and in game.

There used to be a system like this, but because the staff members are not robots it didn't work.
Yea but I think that they should make it so if the person gets about 30 reports for anti kb a staff member will see that and spectate to see if the person is hacking.

What do you mean by that?

I think he meant that there would be a lot of false reports. You can get your troll friends to falsely report someone, I wouldn't really like the idea of this since it is such a such server and tons of people would report for nothing.
Players would also report others because they are salty for losing.

This would only work in Asassinations, but even then, it got removed for several reasons, such as mods not being able to spectate people.

If people falsely report, then it would be an issue. That was the main issue with /report back in the day - people would report people who were actually just good. If there is was a way if a player gets detected with hacks, then the /report command can be executed 5 minutes afterwards to that player only? I don't know though.

Way too many spammers as @mateu9999 said. Maybe if there was a cool down for how much you could report it would work. But how about those players getting 2 hackers in a row for 2 games. Spam protection would not work.

Sorry -1 for me, but thanks for suggesting!

As @hgbf said, there used to be a system like this, but it was removed. I don't think it should be re-added as it would probably just be spammed, and waste staff members time when they could actually be helping people.

I can admire the honest and positive intentions, but i cannot imagine this going well. I believe that others on this thread explained reasons why this isn't as much a good idea, but i have something else that could be an issue: Bots.
Hacked clients have access to alternative accounts on the same IP in order to negate a ban, so imagine if they had 30 characters on one account, and they reported one person that is going after them just out of spite, and that player being reported would be punished.
And i believe that its doing pretty well, other than the lack of communication between reporters and staff, but that is being fixed as time progresses.
