Ok, so here it is.

Egg Wars- the amazing game where you go around destroying peoples eggs and then trying to kill them; stack up on OP gear; collect Diamonds...

One of the best things about Egg Wars I find is the amount of SITUATIONS you can find yourself in...

-Trying to destroy the last egg on a staunchly defended island-holding off an enemy siege late game-that one climactic PvP fight where you all have God gear-The GREATEST of all sneaky egg break situations-fighting off people better geared than you...the list goes on and on. But they have one common denominator...

They're all fun.

Until they're not.

See, trying to destroy the final egg is really fun- until the enemy shoots you off the bridge, gets 6 layers of Obsidian, and TNT's your safe bridge.

Holding off an enemy siege late game is thrilling-until you AND your enemy get bored and basically say "come at me nub" in various ways until you finally fight after like 30 mins.

The one climactic PvP fight with OP gear is awesome-until you realize that its taking forever.

The sneaky egg break is amazing-but it takes you 60 naked runs with just blocks to do it.

So you guys might be asking yourself, "If these situations are so bad, why did you say 'One of the best things'"?

Well, the answer is, not every situation is that bad. Most of 'em are actually "One of the best things". But these specific ones (and some others), are definitely a problem (for me).

So what do you guys think? What are the strats? Am I just a nub? Or are these issues to be discussed, that many people have?

I'd love to hear your opinion down below
:)

Well usually if I have an egg and so do they (being we're the last team alive) and I have a teammate.. I would distract the opponent while my teammate builds to them secretly from up/down depending on map.
They can't farm too much in a short period of time, there's always a way to counter them blowing your bridge up.
I usually have 10 stacks of blocks ready in my inventory (you can place obsidian just in case you are afraid of being blown up), if my teammate managed to sneakily enter their base from on top, she would encase herself in obsidian at their egg and break it, then I would rush over the bridge and TNT it behind me to prevent them from running.

If I am the only player left alive without an egg in a 2 man map against a team of 2 with an egg, they would most likely be camping and if it were the forest map, I would go from up, have a punch bow ready with an extra set of iron/chain in my hotbar while wearing iron set (just in case mine breaks since it is 2v1) at least get 1 god apple and a few golden apples.
I would go in Ninja style, break in their egg through the corner near the void - some players panic and run straight there where 1 shot with a punch bow will send them to the void. (Make sure you are standing near the just broken egg otherwise you'll get shot off) You need to observe the opponent game sense first.

If you have an egg, make an extra set and keep it in a secret chest on your base, make sure you are against 1 last standing team to increase your chances of winning. Once you and your teammates are ready, TNT the bridge behind so if you fail to get them, they can't run to you and you have a bow ready just in case they build to you - this will allow your teammate to farm quickly while you delay your enemies and play on the defensive.

Hope this helps!

Well,Yes and No.

The problem is that the first thing you said is only late game. Obsidian is not dirt cheap. Also, i have tried the distraction technique before, and.....

It failed. Bad.

The enemy team REALIZED i was distracting and quickly found my teammate, shot him off, and, well, i couldn't do the 2v1.
Also, TNTing behind you can fail by blowing up too fast, sending you into the void faster than you can say "LOL"

Well I guess it's a tactic I'm good at, not to brag but if I do say, I have pretty good accuracy with aiming (bow/enderpearl) and timing.
Usually I only TNT when they are fighting with my teammate or someone else.

In early game, my teammate would bridge straight to mid while I stay in base (with shell cracker kit) and quickly cover up my egg. My teammate would drop me a few spare blocks while I get a wooden axe and 2 sets or armor for when she comes back.
Once she comes back, there are times where I would run out the moment she runs over without anyone behind and grab as much eggs as we can, run back to base or die - doesn't matter and break the bridge to mid. It may sound like camping but it isn't, once we secure our egg, we head out together or one stays back to guard. She has great sense for games @zDutchie so I can trust her with my back.
I like it more when someone rushes to us, it makes things more fun.
That is one of our many gameplays.

P:S : Dutchie I feel like we're going to have many opponents and I'm not sure if revealing one of our strat is a good idea but it will make things interesting.

This is how I would deal with them in basically all maps.

With an Egg: So if I still have an egg my teammate or I would be the suicide guy. (Basically put your armor in the chest, buy a lot of blocks and just build out strait. If they shoot you, who cares, you can do it again.) Meanwhile the second person would stay at the bridge to convert the one block long bridge into a safety bridge. If that doesn't work then again one person stays at mid or try to build a safety bridge to the point where you can shoot them, and they can see you. The second person meanwhile will conquer the island that's 2 - 1 island away from the enemy. Since the enemy is distracted on your teammate you can secretly build from island to island until you get to there islands. (When your one islands away, tell you teammate if the enemy is still distracted on them) If one guy stays to protect the egg and the other guy shooting, just do a steakout. Wait till the person leaves then go for it. Block yourself in and break the egg. If that doesn't work then try this. If you can't distract build a safety bridge. You or both your teammate and you can have shields. So basically, bring the teammate with the shield out first. Another person would build one block out, the make it safe. The person with the shield would basically take the arrow shots while you build. If all else fails... just build a sky bridge. From mid, just build a really high bridge made of glass. I noticed that most people don't look up when camping. The next one is my favorite. Put your real armor and basically everything into a chest. Then you and your teammate would go create another set with only Iron armor and a weak sword. Then make it seem legit as possible. Build the safety bride, and purposely fall off the bridge. Don't do it at the same time as your teammate. After your dead, your teammate would then continue the bridge, again they will purposely fall off. The enemy would then think that your team is weak and go rush at you. Meanwhile at your islands, loot your chest you put down. BUT DON'T PUT ON YOUR ARMOR. When they build talk to them in chat. It will make it look realistic. Since they know your weak they won't care to build a safety bride. When both of them are on, take out your bow and snipe them off. When they get snipped, continue the bridge and go to there base. Remember the bridge you built to fake the death. Well use it to your advantage. Continue the bride and continue the usually steps. One of you kill, the other breaks.

Without an Egg: So let's setup a scenario. Your egg gets broken by team Blue. Your team Orange. Blue breaks your egg and suicides. So basically it's a team v team. One with an egg and one without. So at this point you would give up right.. Wrong. There's still a way. The first tip I have for you is to simply build a safety bridge. But modify it. When you start to go near their base, build up like a staircase. When you make it to their island, kill them. Both you and your teammate will support to kill them. When the team gets killed, here's the plan. Your teammate kill's them, while you break the egg. At the end, you can just kill them. Easy. If that doesn't work try this. One of you builds a safety bride from mid. The other build's a bridge from an island near the campers. Both of you guys build until you meet the island. The enemy would be overrun, since they can't shoot at two places unless they split. If they split then start building up. Your teammate would do the same. When you get to their base, again kill the campers and one of you breaks, while the other defends.

For both "Without an Egg" and "With an Egg": ALWAYS KEEP A PUNCH BOW AT BASE. PUT IT IN A CHEST WITH ARROWS. That's for if all else fails and their rushing you and you have practically nothing. Take the punch bows and shoot them off. (Trust me this saved most of my games from losing)

I actually tried the "with an egg" strat. The problem was, they saw us with the gear and fell back. Also, falling off the bridge on purpose is hard to make seem realistic.

On most maps, there is a big cone like pattern beneath the island. Grab a ton of blocks and build down around it. Then, make an enclosed bridge, with glass, watching if any TNT falls from above (arrows wont hit you) Then, while sneaking build up a random way and hope he isn't there. Break the egg ND fight!

I believe if all the bad times are taken away, we will gain more bad times and less good times.

If you ever play OP mode, there are 2 ways to succeed in breaking their egg.

#1: THE ENDERPEARL

#2: Buy a crap ton of blocks and build extremely high so arrows CAN'T hit you, because it's OP mode, you take NO fall damage at all. The downside though, is that they can still see you, and will wait for you at their egg. I'd just wait til they give up, or wait for my teammate to break their egg while you're distracting them :p

In normal mode, I usually (want to) destroy all eggs ASAP, so the egg problem is already gone. Later in the game, when they have bows and everything, I usually make an extreme tryhard safe bridge, and build like 1 block per 6 seconds to their Island.

As for hardcore, it's kinda the same concept as it is for normal, but because everything is ridicuously overpriced, it's gonna take a bit longer.

The ways I kill them in OP is called "the Punch bow", but if I can't manage to spam the off the edge I'll just fight to the death. The way I PvP in OP mode is that I just spam click their armor so that when the helmet breaks, he's basically done for. (armor is necessary in OP mode, no armor = dead in 2 seconds)

In normal and hardcore I just kill them oldskool 1.9 style, as most of the people just don't know how to 1.9 PvP it's pretty easy to kill full iron guys when you're just leather, or even naked.

Just look around see the best place to build be sneaky..
Use your instinct it always helps for me...
I never use the same strat :/
It depends on who my enemy what gear I have and Which map I am...
I play more team so the best strategy for that is buy a shield and try to distract them and then someone build to them from a other island... Or something... For Solo I recomend to stay at mid and farm Diamonds... But that is just of they're camping (REAL) Camping if they're lacking off or just not paying attention then just go all offensive....

I fell like to make the EggWars experience really fun you have to risk a lot. You can just not worry about your Egg at all! To get lots of enjoyment play with a Team! Then when you are at a stalemate with an enemy one can distract and you can ninja break their egg!

Leaving your egg-unless you are a really good player- is a really bad idea because it will limit you to one life and you're not at your island, at the beginning, when everyone is still at their island. Even youtubers, who are really good players, don't do this.

I do it all the time, most YouTubers are just afraid of loosing a game so they are careful. If they aren't and they loose a game, they might redo the video as EggWars can last a while.

Yes, I hear that. But you have to understand that to maintain popularity they need to come out with interesting content. Time may be considered trivial in the face of their youtube channel:)

Deciding to keep your egg or rushing and loosing your egg most likely won't be a noticeable change.
