Why and How I Joined CubeCraft

Before I get started, just wanna say I am doing this because a lot of people (including friends) don't know this part about me that I would want them to know for no exact reason. (:

It all began years ago, I was 8. There was this video game I really enjoyed on the DS. Soon after I got an iPod, I loved the game so much I search it up on the App Store and MineCraft showed up. I had no idea what this game was, but I downloaded it. I was so ignorant when I was 8 years old I thought minecraft was the game that I really enjoyed. I played it and forgot about the game I liked. I played it hours on end! A year after and I moved onto an iPad and soon after got the full Minecraft PE version. I remember I was super excited! When I turned 11 I got it on XBox. I saw all these people on YouTube play Minecraft on PC and got so jealous because I didn't even have a computer. We bought a computer ONLY for homework assignment and projects that required us to type it. I really wanted to use the computer to play games, so I asked my mom if I could use it and she would sometimes say no, but most of the time say yes. Eventually, I was allowed to use the computer without needing to ask. I remember I was obsessed with Roblox and played that with my friends.

It was the year of 2014, my birthday was coming up and I was going to turn 12 and asked my mother for Minecraft PC. I bought Minecraft and I didn't know what to do then. I had a friend that already had Minecraft and played Cube Craft. The day I bought it she said "Hey! I know this awesome server and this game called Sky Wars I enjoy and I know you will too!" The max players were only 4000. I joined CubeCraft and when me and my friend played Sky Wars I felt so alive and had so much fun, it meant the world to me. Me and my friend slowly stop playing and eventually it was only me. It was around September 2014 I was playing skywars alone and @WillowOcean said to me "CyanYellow, I love your name!" And we ended up being best friends and talked everyday and we still talk today! From her I met my friend James and 6Godly who used to be ImmortalMinds. Soon after I started learning about hackers, I was completely against them and never got influence by them and started reporting hackers. I met so many people and I knew this was the community I wanted to be part of. Now I here and I love the community and still play in a daily basis. I enjoy it so very much I would never want to leave.

This is my story of how I joined Cube Craft. I would love to hear your stories of how you joined CubeCraft, everyone's story is interesting. :D

This is my story:

Many of my friends on primary school played MineCraft. I didn't have much money, so I decided to download a Cracked version of MineCraft. I didn't really like it, everything was just square and blockey. So I stopped playing Minecraft.

Four years ago I went to high school. I used to play CoD on PS3 with my friends. I didn't like the new version of CoD (Advanced Warfare) So I decided to sell my PS3 and focus on PC gaming. I downloaded cracked MineCraft again. I really loved it. Eventually I bought a full MineCraft license.

I saw all those big YouTubers playing SkyWars on CubeCraft. I started playing on Cube too. I was using my old desktop, eventhough I played MineCraft on 10 fps I enjoyed it. My dad is working at home, he has got a very good PC. Now I could finally play Minecraft on a nice computer and run texture packs.

I met 2 guys in a lobby. They asked me if I wanted to team with them. They had their own TeamSpeak server. They became my online friends. The Black Friday sale was a very special day for me. I bought my first rank ever on a Minecraft server. I bougt Lapiz. Ond month later I received my own laptop!

I saw the Helper applies were open in november. I quickly created a forum account, and applied. I obviously got denied. I had only a few messages and I made my apply within 10 minutes.

One month later another very special thing happened. I was searching for some random people on YouTube who also played on Cube. One channel was very special. He was a Moderator on Cubecraft, but there was something even more special. I knew him. He's going to the same school as him. We were even in the same class. So I send a text to him, if he wanted to play with me. We played together and had much fun. (I'm talking about @ThijsBeertje )

I bought my Obsidian rank during the Flash sale, fortunately it was also my birthday then.

I'm currently best friends with the guys who asked me if I wanted to team. I'm Mod on their TeamSpeak server, and we're often streaming on twitch :)

Ah yes, not a care in the world. My best friend continuously asked me to get her favorite game -Minecraft- so we could play together after school. My 11 year-old self begged and begged my parents to buy the game for me, and after what seemed like weeks of asking, they finally gave in and bought me the game. (This is where the story of my name comes from, it's quite boring, but yeah, I was 11 at the time, so I can't really complain. I'd just finished the book "Where the Red Fern Grows" and I guess I was 'inspired' by the dogs in the book, so I made my name 'Reddog', but that name was taken, so I just put my lucky numbers at the end of it. Woah, so cool) Back to the story XD, I was so excited because I couldn't wait to join my friend on her server, I remember spending hours on the server. Minecraft was the best game I'd ever played, considering all I'd played before was old DS games, and it gave me another opportunity to talk to my friend outside of school. After a couple of months, my friend got bored and quit Minecraft, and since she was my only friend who played Minecraft, and because my father was changing the 'family computer' into his own personal computer, I quit as well.

Fast forward to the summer of 2015. I was working 8 hours/day at a local summer camp. (I was broke XD, but the pay was good) I worked a good month before I left, and I finally bought my first laptop, the first thing I did was *gasp* download Minecraft (I know, shocker). I couldn't wait to get back to playing, but this time I wanted to play on multiplayer servers. I made some new friends through my middle school years, and one of them told me about this cool server called CubeCraft. I tried it out, but -being my extremely unconfident self- I was so scared to talk to anybody, so I would just walk around the lobby. (Just so awkward looking back on this btw XD) But my friend eventually had the time to play a couple of rounds of Skywars and I started becoming more active in the community.
And here I am. Still awkward as ever.

Amazing story! Here's mine ;)

I bought Minecraft 2 years ago. I really wanted to start my own survival world so I did. I really enjoyed it!

But, I wanted to do something different. I saw YouTube videos where they were playing on Minecraft servers. I started searching on the internet for some Minecraft servers to play on.

Guess what? I found Cubecraftgames :P I started playing lots of games, especially Skywars. I really enjoyed it and met some new friends.

After that I made a Twitter account only for following 1 Dutch Youtuber. Things changed and I started following Cubecraft and the owners as well.

Then Cubecraft started live streaming last year October. I loved their streams and met the owners as well. I even won the Obsidian rank give-away. That's how I got my rank ;)

After the 4 streams in October I met Joe Henry and John Coles on Twitter and we had some good conversations. They helped me a lot! Still these days :)

After that I made a Forum account but I wasn't active on it and didn't know what to do. But I got active on it and met lots of new friends who help me a lot! Love you <3

Every time I join the server it feels great! People recognise me and that are the friends everyone wants to have.

(Actually I have a lot of IRL friends, but none of them actually knows that I'm playing Minecraft. Only my best friends do).

I love the Cubecraft community. All the people who makes it feel comfortable, especially on the Forums!

Nice :D I.. A friend of mine gave me the IP.. I was a big noob back then.. I remember the first Skywars map I ever played, it was Nether. I knew how to play it because I played it on other servers before, I still talk to him and he's one of my best friends now, altough we basicly met via internet :D It's been a long 1-2 years :)

I knew how to play it because I played it on other servers before, I still talk to him and he's one of my best friends now, altough we basicly met via internet :D It's been a long 1-2 years :)

Rainbow was the very first sky wars map I played! :D and cubecraft was the very first server I have ever joined. (:

Lets go back to 2011....
So I was 10 and only played Pokemon and CoD with friends so one day I was searching for a Pokemon walkthrough when I found a Minecraft Animation I thought wtf is this....
So next day I talked about the game at school and one of my friends already had a MC account we talked and talked about the good Mc Youtubers like SkyDoesMinecraft/Deadlox/TrueMu/SSUNDEE they didn't have 1 mil subs just something like 100000 but anyway.... So we talked and talked and one year later I download the cracked version to play with my friends we played on a small dutch survival server... We played there for 2 Years...



After that I was searching YouTube and found a mc Minigame called Skywars I was like wooow this Is cool the problem was I didn't have a premium account so I had to wait till my 13th birthday to buy one... Like 3 months later... (Reason why I didn't buy earlier was because I wasn't allowed to buy stuff online..) So yeah I made my account 9th February 2014 and that was also when I joined cube...

Last year I joined the forums to ban the Hacker because I was mad at them and also applied but I was immature... :/
And after that I met you guys...

Between 2014-2015 I also did PvP training for like 3 months so then I didn't play on cube...
