EggWars spwanprotection

So everyone hates the spawnprotection in EggWars where they can hit you but you can't hit them and it's impossible to break their egg bla bla bla... BUT! I have a suggestion! (Fits good in the suggestions thread, right?) So the suggestion is to make it so that if they hit you THEY LOOSE THEIR SPWANPROTECTION! Great idea, eh? I know. And that's why I vote JackDuck for president of Minecraftia 2016! Let's make Minecraft great again! okthxbai Duck OUT! *mic drop*.

I'm actually not liking this idea. The spawn protection is a challenge to beat. I see how this could work in Hardcore mode, however.

Eggwars is good as it is now.

It's good, but it could be better. This would be one of the small things that would improve the gamemode for sure..

The spawn protection should be reduced indeed, but I agree, if you (the player with spawn protection) tries to hit another player, his spawn protection should be ending immediately.

Good idea! But the spawn protection isn't your biggest enemy ;) Just bring some sand stone or obsidian and there you go. :)

Build your self just in with sand stone. enough grapples must also work

Well one thing for OP mode that i do (You can do it in all modes, but its more difficult), is that you can buy 5 obsidian, and encase yourself in a position to break the egg. That way any kit that they spawn with can't keep you from breaking the egg.

In my opinion, I do think spawn protection should be removed or the time for spawn protection be deducted. When you die a stupid death, you would respawn, but no one would be on your island (besides your teammate). Your teammates can't damage you. So what's the point of spawn protection. Secondly, when you are being attacked, sure spawn protection would come in handy but it would be anoying for the enemy to break your egg (good thing). Eventually though, it will be broken. Eventually when their spawn protection runs out, they would be killed. Why not just disable it so eggwars can run a little bit faster.

On topic though, I don't think it should be removed, but reduced a litle :) For example, when you are lagging and can't respawn, the spawnprotection wil save you! :D

Yeah I guess that's true :D. Let's hope that the eggwars spawnprotection would be a little bit shorter. :D
