Might be annoying with the sound. Lightning's also a really big entity, so might just be visually annoying.

Could just be a clone of disco blocks but with cake. I like the idea though.

With 1.9 just coming out recently, we've got a lot on our plate, so vanity updates will probably be slow to come. That doesn't mean they're never coming though. Keep posting these ideas and I'll keep recording the one that I think will make good additions to the server. ;)
