Most of the time it is the player connection. Please do make sure your download speed is well above 40mbps... And do not complain about the lag , if it poses such a bad issue feel free to find another server. It is not that easy to fix lag on such a big server. Imagine how much this server costs to keep online...

CubeCraft said sorry for the lag on their twitter account... They cant really do anything about it when a bunch of people join the server with a terrible connection. In other cases they maybe updated a lobby. Or brought in a new map. (in those cases the server usually shuts down)

Lag is an annoyance for everyone, we understand. We are constantly trying to improve the stability of our network but as has been said, it is a long and complicated process. For now we just have to be patient and deal with it :)
