Hi all,

My son has been banned because of hacking (by @Roroyourboat_), based on this forum topic. He has removed all hacks and promised me to not use them again.

This was the first time it happened and we have followed the instructions on the appeal page (http://appeals.ccgn.co) but now it says:

"Hello KoningSerno.
Your ban appeal has been unsuccessful.
Your appeal has been declined and can not be submitted again."

Can someone unban KoningSerno please? Or will this automatically happen after a certain period (in that case: which period?)?

I will personally make sure he won't use anymore hacks!

Kind Regards,

Nika Gerson Lohman (nikagl).

Thank you for the clear explanation. Too bad that you do not use a warning system for this. It was only one day, his first time and he did not know the consequences.

Right... it depends on the appeal states the rule. He really apologized in his appeal, I sat next to him when it was written... Although I do agree that this should be punished a permanent ban for a first time offense is quite harsh...

He's only 8 by the way...

As you may know Mr. Nika Gerson Lohman, everything in life has rules. Purchasing a minecraft account has some essentials rules too;

The Minecraft policy clearly states (while buying) that Minecraft servers have the right to ban people if they do not follow the appropriate rules for that specific server. And as your son is 8 years, the following rules are applied;

Mojang said:
It’s not a game which was specifically created for kids, but there is nothing in the game that could really be considered ‘adult content’. The console version is officially rated by the ERSB as E10+ (ages 10 and up), the PE is rated 4+ for iOS (ages 4 and up) and 'low maturity' for Google Play, and the computer version is unrated (but is similar in content to the console version).

That clearly means that your son is under-age, and is not allowed to play on the Multiplayer version of it; yet he can play singeplayer, as it doesn't evolve swearing, sharing inappropriate sites etc..

Parental supervision is highly recommended, as you are allowing an 8 year old to browse through the internet on 'how to hack', which might in the end spoil that kid.

Right, clear. And that is what I will do as I was not clear on that yet. Thanks again for the clear explanations @ all. Please continue to consider a warning system as that would enable parents & kids to better their life after something happens instead of being banned for life...

Well, the server actually offers a /rules command in-game.

Hello,
Your son's account 'KoningSerno' was banned due to the use of Anti-Knockback, a hack that removes all knockback from the user. If his appeal was denied then he will remain banned until his punishment expires unfortunately. Further information can be found here; https://bans.cubecraftgames.net/?username=KoningSerno
The rules of our server are made as clear as possible, and can be found in numerous locations such as our official rules page (https://www.cubecraft.net/threads/official-rules.41864/), via the in-game /rules command, or in certain PvP lobbies upon login.
The reason hacking comes with such an extreme punishment is because it ruins the gameplay for everybody else on the server. There is a 0 tolerance rule for hacking on almost every minecraft server because of this. I hope this cleared everything up for you. If you have any further questions, feel free to private-message me :)
