EggWars Suggestion: Hoppers

Hello everyone, I think that in Eggwars, you should add a hopper attachment to the generators, which then if you place a chest next to the generator, you will be able to go attack and still gain resources. Price: 40 Diamonds. Where: Miscellaneous

That's a good idea, although I think it would create a 'too overpowered' kind of environment, which means that if you go and attack someone you'll get a lot of tokens quite easily.

Though I think people would rather prioritise other items

Raising price to 64 diamonds to reduce overpoweredness (if added xd)

Not exactly, people can easily get diamonds in eggwars if they're patient. If you have 2.5 seconds / diamonds for a level 3, times by 64 = 160 seconds = 2 minutes 40seconds. Isn't that long ;]

5 diamonds from mid is pretty instantaneous, getting 10 diamonds for level 2 is 100 seconds, 25 diamonds for level 3 and 5 seconds = 125 seconds. = 225 seconds.

If you can get diamonds that easily why would need a hopper to collect diamonds that are relatively easy to get?
Plus God apples is an item that people aren't suppose to get easily and if we allow hoppers in eggwars people will be running around with multiple God apples destroying the fun of the game.

Wrong. TeaParty overpowers every map on getting the 64 diamonds in record time. by myself, i managed to get over a stack in just under 2:30 minutes using my insta-rushing strat and also got lucky that nearly nobody rushed middle.

Also this still seems really overpowered, as the player can AFK on another generator and still get tokens in the other generator, thus breaking gameplay somewhat. so ima stay 50/50.

I once played a game where I got 14 stacks of diamond with my friends... or is it just me that gets games that take forever?

Let me post an idea, like 1 hopper is 10 diamonds and 10 gold, what you can do with it is you place the hopper next to a generator, then you contact a hopper with a chest, and then the items of the generator go in the chest, simple. :D

I thought of this aswell! Maybe another idea would be like every 10 or 15 minutes a SUPER RARE chest spawns in the middle of the map, first one to open the chest gets the loot in there, in this case a hopper. :D

This is what could happen:
I get 64 diamonds, get a hopper, while the hopper is getting diamonds, I go to gold, then when the hopper has 64 diamonds again, I buy another hopper and hook it up on the hopper that there was previously, and so on until I have all of the generators hooked up into 1 chest that gives me everything without the need of going to a generator. So... No from my part

I like this idea +1 although I have to say it might cause people to camp even more. So maybe a stack of diamonds as the price.

People could just farm diamonds. People already farm diamonds just standing on the gen, now having hoppers to make it easier for them seems way too op.
