(Please take time to read this, I really appreciate it)

Am I the only one wondering what happens with hackers? I play Skywars alot, and almost every game there's someone with Anti-Knockback hacks (they make me puke). I always report them 'cause a game with hackers is a waste of time. I always think like ''How are they gonna solve this without proof? Are they gonna go after this guy somehow? Or is my report just gonna get ignored? I don't hope so.''.

So what happens when you report a hacker? What will the Admins, Mods etc. do? They need proof right? But if you need proof of a hacker, why do we have the ability to use /report? With /report you can't give proof. Thank God there's a forum (good job Cube Craft, made life easier), we can post a video in the forum of a hacker. I understand that the command /report is quick and easy, but is it useful without proof? I'm just very curious, it would be great if I could get answers to my questions.

I assume hackers get banned (duh), but is it permanent? I hope so, hacking is lame and it takes away the all the fun of playing a game.

Thanks if you read it all ;)

  • When you report a hacker with proper video evidence, we review the evidence and make a decision on whether to ban them or not.
  • When you report a hacker with insufficient evidence (screenshots, the hacker saying they hack, etc.) we don't ban but we do monitor them and watch for future evidence.
  • When you report a hacker with no evidence (your report just says they hack), we ignore your report until actual evidence comes forward.
The punishment for hacking depends on the admin/mod who banned them, the type of hack they used, and if they appeal. I personally ban hackers for 99 months. If they appeal and their appeal is sincere (they're genuinely sorry, they were banned without sufficient evidence), I shorten the ban to three months or sometimes just unban them.

If a player reports another, staff read the report and decide whether the proof is valid and make a decision to ban someone, sometimes they may to need to ask each other.
If a staff member gets a lot of /reports for a certain player, they most likely will investigate that player if they can, staff can ban the player if they spot the hack being used, they DO NOT need proof to ban because they are staff.
Any players that are banned for hacking is a permanent ban, if you plan on making some reports make sure you upload the footage and post it with the name of the player and the rule they have broken.
