Lately I’ve noticed more players using subtle reach and aimbot. The problem is these cheats are harder to notice, so it’s really tough to tell who’s legit and who’s hacking. The current anti-cheat often misses them, and it makes PvP frustrating for legit players.

I think the system should get better at detecting small reach advantages and unnatural aim movements. Even if it can’t ban instantly, at least flagging accounts with suspicious patterns could help staff review them faster.

Fair PvP is what makes CubeCraft fun, and updating the anti-cheat for these kinds of hacks would really improve the player experience.

Thank you for the clarification! I understand that subtle cheats are harder to detect automatically. I think it could be helpful if the anti-cheat could flag suspicious patterns to make staff reviews more efficient. Meanwhile, I’ll continue reporting any players I notice using these cheats in the report subforums to help maintain fair and enjoyable PvP for everyone.

Best regards,

Why dont they check your ping, see how far your reach is and if its off etc yk but then i know that would put a lot of stress on the cpu i guess
We do take ping and reach into account, but it’s tricker than it sounds. High ping or lag can make hits look much farther than they really are, even when the player isn’t cheating. If we flagged than immediately, lots of legitimate players would get banned just for having bad internet. The anti-cheat is far more complex than just calculating moves and distance, and there’s unfortunately no simple way to eliminate every cheat.

i've reported 5 blockers with antikb (like really obvious antikb where they visibly take alot less knockback) and still been denied. I do think there should be a better auto detection, and if it risks getting some normal people banned it should kick instead of ban like how the hive does it + there should be a way for the community to help get rid of cheaters like hypixel's atlas system. which could also be a good way to gauge which people would be suited to join the staff team.
