You should be able to see the lobby your friends are in:

I think that if you do /friends list you can see exact lobby but this would be lot easier :D

You can see where are your friends using the command /f list

But this thing is already implemented
Just use /fl in Minecraft chat.
It will show which all friends are on and which lobby they are in.
Although it's slight broken at the moment because it won't show the played game map correctly.
