How to fix Java Edition lag

I trying open Java Edition and I have a random lag if I play a multiplayer server for example Hypixel or CubeCraft Games it's extremely laggy what it's is happening to me I use laptop I trying to play Bedrock Edition it's so fast loading chunks I haven't lag on any server why is happening to me on Java Edition???

I mean every I playing Java Edition 1 hour it's fast heat up my laptop I not talking about the latency I talking about the Gameplay on Java Edition

Oh, okay. Then I would recommend trying the following steps:

1. Install Optifine - a widely used mod that optimises your Minecraft.
2. Reduce render distance - in your video settings, reduce your render distance to 8 chunks or less.

I recommend to clean your laptop first. A lot of files you don’t need makes your laptop slower.

If that doesn’t work, clean it from the inside. Maybe there is some dust inside. If there was some dust in there, it should run a lot smoother and it doesn’t get that hot anymore.

Then download a client like Badlion or Labymod. These are FPS boosters. Download Optifine with that like @KristN_ said.

If that doesn’t work you should try to remove some old games you don’t play anymore.

Last solution: change your video settings to something lower.

Shutting down programs like internet and all that sort of thing helps me. not sure if this is of any use to you.
