What do ocelots do?

I completed the crazy cat person quest and now I have no idea what to do with the cats. Do they do anything or should i just kill them?

You need to kill 1000 ocelots for the last overworld quest and they can be used to automatic chicken farms

If you're in the end game, then they're pretty much useless.
