Punch bows

Hi players. Do you think that punch bows need to be more expensive or even removed? In my opinion they are too overpowerd. It's really annoying when you try to fight and people are just using the bow so that you can't hit them. I also think that punch bows support camping on the games. What is your opinion?

It's annoying to face against bow spammers in Eggwars and it indeed is very overpowered. But I think lowering the price of the bow itself is not going to change much anyway people will still have it and eventually, you will still have to face against bow spammers.

I like them....You can always use a shield if you don't want to be shot off or build a secure bridge. In my opinion it is fine how it is.

I agree with you. I sometimes have the same problem as you but sometimes punch bows are necessery because otherwise the game will never end. Thats because at the end of the game everyone has really good armour.

As annoying as it is getting punched bowed of, it is a part of the game and Always very handy to shoot people of that are building towards you, and sometimes double or triple healt gets selected it takes forever to kill Someone by sword, then is punching people of the easiest way to kill Someone, it is a no from me

If you are in a stage of the game that a team is camping with a punchbow then the game is already going on for a few minutes lets say 10, then building a bridge with safewalls is not really a problem in my opinion

So, I think it can stay even though it is quite overpowered, but I think you can take measures against it, you can be the first to just use your building skills to combat it. You can make a anti-knockback bridge, I understand that it will take long but it's the part of the game in my opinion. In Overpowerd you can buy an Enderpearl. You can also just buy a shield.

I don't really like to see a change that the Punch Bow will be a higher price. They already changed it back in 2017 I believe, I think most of the people were happy and so me. I think if they change it to 40-50, it will be too expensive I think.

Normal = A Shield costs 30 Diamonds.
Overpowerd = A Shield costs 10 Diamonds.

It is also in 1.8, but you can't buy a shield, you can build a anti-knockback bridge or buy an Enderpearl.

Also, please add a poll, I think it will be useful if you can see what people think is a good idea Yes or No.

I still think there should be some sort of arrow cap so you can still have it but you can't just bow spam.

I think you can edit your suggestion, if you do edit, and then go to more options, I believe you can edit everything what you want I believe, prefixes, messages and polls. Sometimes people asking for polls, and later they did that.

I agree, this is the best way to deal with players that are shooting you while camping.

and if you are fighting on a Island and the enemy is starting to shoot with punch at you, just build a wall behind you, and if you have a bow yourself shoot back

Today I've played some eggwars again and the punch bow actually helped me against campers, so I'd prefer for it to stay in the game. On the other side they should bring speed eggwars back, or another version of eggwars where there are no (punch) bows.

i realy hate people changing from sword to bow and spam arrows to dead trying to make you fell when you are at 20 blocks from the border, and they will do it anyways becaus ethe punch bow IS NOT FUN
The bow MUST be removed because it force you to use it in any moment

Attack a island, bow
Enemy with shield, he cant block forever so BOW
