Wolf Killing

When I play lucky islands teams and I get a wolf, my teammates will kill it, is there a reason to this like some kind of tactic I don't know or are they just being salty?

That's why I don't play teams li.
Because your teammate may be afraid of that the doggo may attack them or for an opponent so they kill it before the dog does
But it actually doesn't do that untill you hit a player/mob so the dog will take actions and kill it
